The beaches of Athens suburb such as Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Voula are within 20 minutes’ drive
Cape Sounio and its excellent beaches with the Temple of Poseidon is within 15 to 20 minutes’ drive..
There are luxury shopping centers and shopping malls, selling a variety of luxury goods, designer label at good prices

    Villa Saronida was everything we'd hoped for... we were In Greece for our son's wedding. A mixed family group of ten enjoyed the superb facilities, entertained friends and loved our whole experience
    Our daughter arrived during the day and she received amazing hospitality from the owners, was driven to the supermarket and given a comprehensive overview of the property and the area.
    Nothing was too much trouble and we thank them enormously for their kindness. An electric whisk was even conjured up to enable the wedding cake to be made! Kitchen and dining equipment is plentiful.
    The pool and garden is wonderful (and necessary in August) and everyone loved the sporadic appearances of the two tortoises! We had a marvellous time in beautiful Attica.

      Here is why we (two families, 11 people in total) recommend the place:
      The villa is in very good condition: high standard and everything clean and in order (or quickly solved). The owners are extraordinarily friendly and supportive in every way, even before arrival (unfortunately, none of us speaks a Greek word). The garden and pool are great and perfectly treated; rich green grass everywhere between and below the trees, many sunny and shadowy spots in the whole garden. Having the complete villa for us, was surely an additional advantage. The cleaning ladies come twice a week, the pool boy at least once. The kitchens and bathrooms are completely equipped; we also heavily used the outdoor grill and pizza oven.
      Hence, the villa and the garden are at least as fine as you would expect from the photos - we were surprised.
      Tavernes and shopping facilities (e.g. a bakery in 3 minutes walk) are nearby.
      Saronida is a very nice place: The sea is crystal clear and in walking distance, though the way back is up the hill. There are many bays and coves, one next to the other with easy and free access, all the bigger ones with space for parking and even fresh water showers. Obviously, Saronida is the choice of people from Athens and around.
      From Saronida you can easily reach Athens by car, we always found sufficient parking space near the underground station Elliniko, which is around half an hour by car from Saronida (like the airport), and took line M2 directly to Acropolis or Syntagma. Mycenae, Epidaurus, Delphi and Thibes are in day trip distance and famous Cape Sounion with its Temple of Poseidon is close by.
      Altogether, we spend magnificent holidays in Greece.

        Totally agree with the previous review. Excellent accommodation with superb facilities made all the more enjoyallable by emmanuil and his wife. We too struggled with the language although most people we came across spoke English, Emmanuel took us shopping gave advice on restaurants, arranged taxis and even bought my nephew a Special birthday cake. I can totally recommend this place.

          I have chosen to visit Greece at the quiet month of January. I booked a villa to a place I haven't heard before. well the owners were very welcoming. The villa was outstanding. My husband was tired so he stayed inside for 5 days watching satellite Tv and browsing on the internet. I visited few shops in saronida. Wonderful place. We decided to rebook the same villa next September.

      •  When we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and we greeted with lovely traditional food and wine. Nikos and his parents arranged our journeys to and from the airport and were always available if we had any queries throughout the week. They took us to the supermarket and showed us the local amenities upon arrival. Athens is an easy bus ride. Be sure to check times!
      • House was great. Pool and steam room a delight. BBQ is fantastic for big groups. House was clean and nicely finished, all topped off with tortoises wondering around the garden. Would highly recommend!

      • Really struggling with this as there wasn't any more I would ask from you. Possibly leave clear instructions for the water if it goes off.
